There is lots of hints so far at the links between Kara and Sakura...

1. Kara 'Inner' division...

Kara is full of mysterious adults who we never see in part 2... most of this adults were old enough to have a role in teh war but they was not seen! teh clue to this is teh word 'inner'...

As well all know, Sakura was once ordinary girl with extraordinary hidden powers... powers which came from her 'inner' side

Maybe kara was full of ordinary individuals who have dormant inner powers just like inner sakura... they spend time in teh shadows while they unlock their true potentials...

another clue is teh karma seal...

lakooki theory is this: kara, after 4th ninja war, heard of sakura heroics and how she defeat kaguya. they wondered how ordinary human girl can reach this level without special bloodline or free powerups... this is when they discover 'inner powers' like inner sakura along with byakugou...

thx 4 reading :)

The only relevance she holds at the moment is being Sarada’s mother but your right the rhombus marks are similar. Their both clearly finjutsu and like Byakugo manifest a pattern when released so your not off. Oh can say the same thing about Kawaki’s transformation being extremely similar to Jūgo’s transformation so good guess but nothing is confirmed.

lakooki>minamoto>uzunaji chancho...
I don't even know who that last one is.

OT: Byakugoa and karma have similar shapes, but that is about it. In terms of coloration, byakugoa is blue/greenish while karma is a black mark (save for when activated, when it has been seen turning blue or red for Boruto or Kawaki respectively)

More importantly than appearance though, the powers we've seen from karma thus far are different from byakugoa. Karma absorbs and releases jutsu and apparently also causes massive explosions as seen from Kawaki. Byakugoa is more like a chakara battery that is used to power the user and it can facilitate the creation rebirth technique.

Besides, Tsunade had byakugoa first (and perhaps so did Mito given that she had the same shape on her forehead).

What's more, byakugoa is not exclusive. Anyone in theory can learn it if they have the chakara control for it. ok
