Why sakura fails as a main character.

Still he is not pretending when acted that way, he still can have those moments at times when he is getting all the acknowledgement. It's still a shame that people take it out on Sakura when Naruto can act mature and accept the rejection and still be friends with her.



Now that's an argument which only shows lots of mysogeny and bias. Is it a coincidence that a lot of haters prefer a meek Hinata which is living on only for Naruto and acts like an ideal wife in traditional sense as a "well written character"?

The thinking that Naruto is all about fights only is another mistake many readers make and that's one of the reasons they feel disappointed with the the recent arcs this much. Naruto had awesomely described ninja fights. And it's written with a backdrop of war and blood. But it was always about the message writer was sending. It always concentrated on inner struggles of characters and upon the people who lost their way during all the mayhem. If they had noticed it then they would have been better of.

First she was a medic healing the SA
and then she changed to combatant and Barking she is on par With naruto and Sasuke.
then she start healing again.


This War arc. was ****ed up for her.
She can only think of Sasuke if she was a strong Independent woman
Sasuke wouldn't be in the picture since the start of Shipuuden.

There are only 2 Kunoichi's I really like

And that's Tayuya and Temari.

It shows her versatility , and she rather preserve he life of the people, saving Naruto from having to fathom the lose of random people, instead of fighting with them. You do know that Sakura did help with the tug of war too, just saying

Obito does not fail as a villain he is a bad villain but there's three things that make a villain. 1. Action(the biggest part) 2. Background( second biggest part) 3. Motive( third biggest part). Only his background sucks.

Nah, there's a lot more to a good villain.

More important than action is motivation and personality, take Orochimaru, that guy oozes charisma and that's part of what makes him the best overall villain along with his twisted means of gaining power, like testing on unborn children.

Sakura is not a fail character. Kishi's style is different and he gave her a specific role to play. She's not an over powered main character. She's a realistic Character that we can relate to.

If kishi wanted to, he could easily give her a power up that would make her stronger than naruto or sasuke, but he didn't which means he intends for her to not be over powered. He intends her to be a realistic character with many flaws.

Regarding her love, Well shes a tsundere character so of course she's going to hate/resent naruto in the beginning, then later on, She started appreciating him, and even loves him as well. That's how tsundere's work in a shonen manga.

You can hate on sakura all you want, but the thing is, she's quite popular in japan and that's what matters the most for kishi.

When Sakura said she is independent??
How many heroines from Main Stream Shounen didn't got saved sometime?
How many of them are at the male character's level?
A goal? What about becoming as good as her master or better? Or bringing Sasuke back to konoha?

If we are going to eliminate every single character that is irrelevant for the haters, Naruto would only have 2 characters and the evil guy.

Regarding to her relevance to main plot, it depends on the arc, we can't compare her relevance in the Rescue Gaara Arc to Hidan and Kakauzu's Arc. In every arc she was always the person the main hero is in love with.
Haters always repeat she is a horrible character and claims Kishi said that when he actually didn't, that was a miss translated. So, i haven't seen any serious argument backing up this "failure character" theory...

naruto with compare to sakura almost removed his imperfection like some stupidity
ignorance,or obsession with sasuke.
also sakura showed her intelligence 3 or 4 time in shipuuden... i can say that she good only in booksmart, but sasuke and naruto grown in booksmart too ( especially naruto)
