Why Rock Lee doesn't have story in Gaiden

Some of you are asking why Rock Lee is not shown apart from the pannel with him training with his son in chap 700+1, it is too stop him from defeating the villain in Gaiden 1 panel , Gaiden is just the make up for Sakura pathetic display for 15+ years and not to show Rock Lee awesome power

Hopefully he'll be big in the movie. That's what i'm hoping for, gaiden is more a family matters prequel, setting up the main 3 and their kids.
