[Discussion] why rize is hated by so many ghouls

I have not read manga but have watched anime.I don't understand why so many of ghouls get pissed just by smell of rize in kaneki and consequences are faced by poor ken.
in √a episode 5 that captured ghoul started beating kaneki due to rizes smell and also yamori did the same.
what has rize done to them someone please explain me

1. They're wondering why a "normal human" smells like her (they think that he killed her)

They hate Rize because Rize was the alpha, she dictated through force where each person could operate, she stole food from weaker ghouls. Essentially she was a thug who had the most power and knew it. So after her disappearance they took territory and when they think she's back to take it they get mad. That's what I got from it anyway I never finished so I may be wrong with later developments.

Because
