Why Rinnegan didn't seem OP in the past.

Compared to MS, it didn't seem so OP.

Koto and Kamui and PS outshines anything Nagato had

It's because it comes as a set. A set that only works with the original user. It can't really function well on its own, unlike MS which still at least retains it's techs.

With MS, at least Danzo was able to still use koto. Rinnegan on the other hand loses almost all it's power once separated.

In all: steal Shisuis eye, you get his tech.
Steal Madaras eye, you don't get anything close

Rinnegan is obviously more powerful, it offers a greater variety of techniques, aswell as the potential to master all 5 nature transformation. + You dont have your eyes bleeding and going blind all over the place.

It's only drawback is that it is persumabley more chakra taxing.

Obito can't handle or even use the rinnegans abilities.
Nagato on the other hand couldn't either, well he could, that's only because he didn't have that curse mark and because he had good genes.

Uzumaki's doesn't have better genes...but its that Obito wasn't lucky with the genes sasuke has.

Sasuke wouldn't be able to use both rinnegans of Madara neither. Nagato was able to because he wasn an Uzumaki. madaras chakra of the eyes wuld overwhelm people who don't have a big life force or big chakra pool like Nagato

The rinnegan was being used but copycats but when one eye goes to it original owner he solos 7 bujuu and two perfect jins so just imagine both eyes together.

Once it was based around other aspects of battle more than just powerful jutsus...
Rinnegan had fair Hype then, and lived upto it's Hype very well in Pain's arc...

Exactly, but Danzo was still able to use Koto despite the eyes not being his. Because with MS, the eye thief can still retain some of the stolen eyes power.

No so with the Rinnegan. It doesn't even function properly unless it's in the original user.

Because PS can do the same.

And Nagato can't defend against Kamui or Koto.

But without the two set of eyes for MS, you can't even use Susanoo, or the opposite eye power.

Otherwise Danzo, Kakashi, and Obito would have Susanoo.

I think that the rinnegans full power comes in hand with not only with the original user, but with both too.

(You may of mentioned it already idk)

Also those with uchiha and senju can use near-full power.
