Why Rin died?

They didn't explain it in the flashbacks so maybe Kakashi will explain it to Obito while fighting. But I have a guess the eliminates the she was a spy theory.
In the last manga it shows Kakashi talking to her tomb (sorry on phone can't post image but you've seen it) now would you talk to your friends tomb all the time tell them what is happening in your life if that person betrayed you and your family or village? And after you killed them? No you wouldn't you'd leave them the hell alone and e glad a spy is dead!
So that is my prediction on why she can't be a spy

Well they wanted her body even after death so it's either KKG, special, or spy (like kabuto was) I'm going with KKG and special and basically looking at the situation he knew he couldn't protect rin and the only way of stopping them was to kill her. Also if rin was captured she wouldn't have a nice life so it was to save her from that as well I guess.

i think kakashi was caught by some genjutsu and was fored to kill his own friend.he was then not strong enough to let him free from jutsu.so he regrets killing her and always apologizes to obito

Seeing there the Bloody Mist you have to conclude they were there on 4th Mizukage's (Madara's) orders so the whole scene seems to have been a set up to give the extra push Obito needed in order to comply with Madara's plans.

Another hint in that direction is the fact that the Warping Zetsu offered him self to help Obito after the white on told him (opportunely) that his friends were under attack.

If it doesn't smell fishy to you then there is something wrong with your smelling senses.

This is probably really stupid, but Rin has been captured before and has been kept alive, (which Kakashi notes to be due to the fact that she's a medic nin)...

So maybe... Kakashi and Rin thought that this was their final stand, so Kakashi was like "you know if you live, youll be the puppet of our enemies", so they decide to kill her, and then Kakashi would make his final stand against the mist nin and so on...

The thing that really turns this whole idea off is the fact that if the village hidden in the mist really needed healing ninja, they would just train ninja to heal xD and I dont thi there is any real way they could make Rin a puppet, but you know xD
