Why ranking the strongest is unnecessary.

First favoritism. If someone's favorite character isn't in a top 10 or 5 or whatever they're just going to fuss.

Second it depends on what you mean by strong? Orochimaru can shed his body to avoid bleeding to death but that doesn't hurt an opponent. Shikamaru has shadow possession but it doesn't kill and has intelligence which some people even don't consider power nor strength.

Third plot does prevent there being a one shot one kill without somebody doing something. Kamui? you send them to a different dimension then what? totsuka blade so you seal them? People underestimate that when it comes to certain jutsu some characters can dodge?

Ofcourse. When i do rankings, it's just for fun. You know, entertainment while i'm bored. Obviously Favoritism plays a huge role in almost all of the top 10 posts on here.
