Ah. Well obviously I didn't read through the entire thread. Just want to put my two cents in.
Firstly, I like Sasuke. As a character, he's interesting, and yeah, he's meant to be kinda cute. I could understand his revenge-quest for Itachi, but after that, his character got quite sour. I remember him saying -- "the pain of losing Itachi means more to me than the way Itachi lived his life." That oozes with that selfish 'avenger' mindset he's grown up with. His actions beyond that point are, well, irredeemable and immoral.
On a different note, Madara tells only one lie in his disclosure to Sasuke. I'm interested to see what'll happen if he finds out that Madara really did attack Konoha with the Kyuubi, thereby framing the Uchiha. Chances are, Sasuke will turn against him. Or someone slap some sense into him. Either way, I'll be satisfied.
