I know Ulquiorra has a second release but how can he defeat the strongest Espada?

because his second release was OP and not even kaizen had seen it. he still had his regeneration abilities in his second release so he former could have beat barragan who i believe was better than stark I'm not really sure why stark was put above barragan. all stark has is ceros fired at a fast rate which isn't that impressive to someone with speed and as we saw ulquiorra was faster than hollow mask ichigo who's whole power is basically speed. his wolf attack also isn't that impressive and using it might result in his other half dying so its never even used to its full potential until a critical moment and after that stark is left defenseless

When it comes to his rank, it's unclear, it's possible that Kubo intented to make him the strongest, Ulq is first Espada he designed and the only espada he gave Segunda Etapa. But, Ulq never impressed me to the level that he would be strongest espada, he still didn't mastered his Secunda etapa. His rank can go anywhere from 4th strongest, to strongest Espada.

I personally would say that he is 4th strongest and just stronger than Tier. For me Starrk, Barragan and Yammy showed much more than being trashed by Hichigo and not to mention that some of them didn't use their full power.

when ulq went segunda etapa, his rank disappeared. which mean he probably couldn't be ranked on the scale they were on before. i'm still confused how hallibel was ranked above him, that was just weird to me. barragan wasn't really a great fighter, he mostly relied on his OP ability. which could probably could have been bypassed by ulq's javalin spear. stark, was strong and fast, but he wasn't impressive. just comparing the two, i would put ulq on top every time. stark was impressive in that he slit his soul into two beings instead of a sword, but he didn't have that impressive of an ability. he did however hold his own against multiple captain level opponents. so i give him credit for that. yammy is just a joke, and it's bull$hit that he was suppose to be the strongest espada. he got beat off panel. kenpachi had more trouble with number 5, who name escapes me at the moment. alll in all, ulq should have been ranked higher in my opinion. the way he was speed blitzing ichigo was ridiculous, and ichigo's ability is based around his speed.
