Why People Choose Statements over feats?

Ok so i was arguing with this random dude on youtube about kaguya and momoshiki.

I was like honestly Kaguya murders momoshiki idc what sasuke stated. And he was like you cant go against what the manga stated.

i was like really? really?

the same manga that "stated" itachi was invincible?

the same manga that "stated" Hagaromo sealed juubi by himself?

the same manga that "stated" hiruzen was the strongest hokage?

what do all those staements have in common? THEY ALL GOT PROVEN INCORRECT LATER.

literally you can never go by statements it's just for hype. feats however you can actually apply.

So i asked him how does momo counter hair senbon that temporarily paralyzes her opponent and render them unable to discharge chakra as seen with sasuke not being able to manifest susanoo?

or how does momo counter Kaguya firing a ashbone through a portal,appearing behind him,he dodges, then get hit with 1 from the front?

Orr Eighty god vaccum which is a taijutsu attack that destroyed perfect susanoo TWICE.

Or the fact she tanked 9 fullpowered rsm super tailed beast rasenshurikens unharmed. her body just reacted to the bijuu chakra.

orr naruto summoned 1,000s upon 1,000s of clones and not a single one could hit her?

he literally couldnt bring anything to argue with except momo absorbs chakra and fires jutsu back stronger.

Not to mention Infinite tskuyomi

ummm Kaguya passively absorbs chakra, so he just gonna give her more chakra than what she originally released?

I get not wanting a female character as the strongest but feats wise it's her lol.

Tbh 17 Naruto and Sasuke wouldve done better against Momo then their adult forms.

statements are as important as feats since, writer cannot give equal screen time to every character. Thus he makes statements about other characters. Without those statements, we will be at a loss of words discussing characters other than 3,4 main characters.

Lol....actually no.....his weakness is actually like kabuto.....it is something that he stated during that fight.....he still has some other weaknesses like he can't beat people who literally can erase him from the Earth (Naruto,Sasuke,Madara,jj obito,dms obito, Kaguya, momoshiki, kinshiki, Hagoromo, hamura, toneri, etc....)

True, statements go so far, but they are retconned at times so its not all the time they can be used. Especially after we have seen feats that suggest otherwise. Momoshiki gets wrecked hard by kaguya.
- His earth lava golem gets oneshot by her eighty vacuum palms
- he opens portal she opens portal (but the dude was complaining from simple traveling through s/t portals while kaguya was changing the whole goddamn dimensions)
- she has way more chakra
- she tanked Super tailed beast rasenshuriken, and momo died from a COR


In stats she is above momo, and she is a better immortal that can survive anything bar sage seals, while momo can pretty much die
