Why people believe madara wasn't immortal after absorbing shinju?

I don't get it people keep saying madara can die even while immortal.

madara had shown feats of his immortality and sasuke know he was immortal since the swap sword didn't do nothing but pierce him.

no blood no inside organs cut in half with no thought of caring.
if people claim madara wasn't immortal that's like saying kaguya wasn't immortal. even tho she regenerated her whole physical form from chakra.

He's not immortal because if the JJ is ripped out of him he dies. He is on the same boat as Obito. Kaguya however was immortal because you can't kill her, you would have to seal her. An immortal man doesn't casually get stabbed by BZ.

yeah i don't get it either. Once he absorbed the Shinju Tree he achieved immortality of a sorts through Kaguya who took over his body. Once she was sealed and the bijuu extracted, Maddy was reverted back into a mortal and thus died from the extraction.

At the time though he was immortal and the only way Naruto and Sasuke would have beaten him would have been to seal him like Kaguya.

that didn't kill him though, it just allowed kaguya to take over his body. he died once everything that made him immortal was extracted (Kaguya, the shinju tree, the juubi)

Those thing made him immortal. How do you kill an immortal? take away his/her immortality that's how you kill someone who is immortal.

granted it's not the immortality of the truest sense like Kaguya, but more of an immortal mode. with all those that i mentioned above he couldn't be killed by conventional means so they had to strip him of those ingredients 1st in order for him to die.

I don't disagree with you guys completely, But at the moment he was immortal.
