Your forgetting the ass kicking he gave Gaara. Sasuke was suffering pain from the curse mark thats why he almost got defeated.

Ok, maybe not first time, but 1st time in the manga yes, he defeated him at that time.
Against Haku, Sasuke thought himself Haku was going easy on them. He could have defeated them much more earlier(Naruto or not) if he wanted:

Against Itachi, Sasuke was the one attacking him, and Itachi replied and defeated him easily, so why is that not a fight?
