I don't know about switching but pairings wars are stupid. Especially in a manga where pairings was hardly even dwelled over I'm surprised there are pairing fans. Honestly I wouldn't give 2 shits if both Naruto and Sasuke ended up alone. Or if Sasuke dated Sakura and ended up with Naruto. Pairings are stupid because this manga was about ninjas not romance.
