Why Other People don't like your Favourite Character?

What is the reason why people on here dislike your favourite character?

I can honestly see why Kabuto doesn't get too much love around here- the fact that he collects and uses the powers of others, how he's literally the opposite of Itachi and how his backstory was stupidly placed in the middle of a fight when everyone wanted to get back to the action- I can see why people don't like the guy despite him being one of the strongest characters in the show and also having an AWESOME design and character.

You've answered your question. It's because collecting and using powers is BS and plot hole. Back in the first part you needed affinity and training to get these powers or to unlock your KKG.
That's why kabuto is a troll hax character who has no place in the plot, but hey that's kishimoto for you.

everyone has different taste......its not like they dislike the characters because its someones fav ...its coz they dont find them according to their liking ....and there is no reason that everyone should like the same character ...for me im mainly former akatsuki fan .... and sort of antagonist lover ...coz hero's are just too obvious ..

agreed Kabuto is a great character people hate him because:
he's not a bishounen
he could have easily pwned Uchiha bros if he hadn't been fighting the allied shinobi fodder
he has stolen stolen most of his powers from Oro (while other characters like Sauce Kakashi and Naruto always rely on their own powers like Kyuubi or Obito's eye -.-)

I know why people dislike my character, but I happen to like him. And also rules change, it was hinted that Orochimaru was always able to transfer abilities and such- he managed to take Jugo's curse mark and replicate it, he taught Udon & Sakon a jutsu that was originally Hashiramas and Oro could just change bodies and use sharingans at will. He's always been capable of doing such things and Kabuto is no different- he was just better at it. With OP stuff like Senju DNA being such a big deal in the show now and characters constantly stealing each other's eyes and abilities- I really don't think it's that much of a big deal.

Most people dislike Kabuto for the backstory which strikes me as unfair.

Thank you. If it's really that confusing, just rename it 'Bad things about your favourite character that you dont mind because you like them nonetheless' if I really have to break it down that much for ya, but that isn't really as catchy.

I think that there is an equal amount of haters to lovers , look at itachi , his name comes up and people are already dividing , honestly for me it's naruto , although I almost never have the main character as my favorite character in naruto it is , there is no complications with him , it's simple if you want something go get it , there is no secrets or conspiracies , the fact that I am dying to see how much he'll transform as the end is also a reason

I think there are a lot of people who dislike or hate naruto because of his so called talk no jutsu , I happen to like it , yes kishi messed up with Nagato but it's the best moments when naruto opens his mouth XD
