Why only Edo Madara?

On the majority of top ten lists Edo Madara is always on there. Now my question is why Edo Madara? Is it because he was no longer in the control of Kabuto? Because in that case shouldn't Edo Itachi be on that list too? Or is it just because he released himself from Edo Tensei? But if that was the case he's not Edo anymore. He just has Edo abilities Ex: Immortal, Unlimited chakra, etc. So in that case shouldn't you list his name in some other way now (LORD MADARA! lol).
I want to know how Narutobase feels on this controversial topic, so please in the comments tell me your opinion on this.

The vessel will then take on the form that person had in life, thereby reincarnating them to do their summoner's bidding.

He might just have the characteristics of an Edo and not necessarily means he is one.
