That's so funny you say that, I literally just got done talking to a friend about how their making games easier lol. Most games now you can't even lose. You can just inch your way on veteran. No skill required

People are super masochist gamers this generation. I mean look at the succes of like Dark Souls, a game that's soul catch is you'll lose a lot.

But I agree, they've definitely gotten harder. And I'm OG, I've beaten the ninja gaidens, contra, etc. It can be kind of frustrating buying games because I want to enjoy playing it, don't want a struggle. To me that's not what gaming about.

I mean tough parts here or there are great, but a whole story mode that's just a mofo to play isn't fun.

IMO games that are difficult give a far greater satisfaction when learned then games which can be finished with ease due to no required mechanical skill, etc.

Get lionheart early and you'll blitz through FF8. But I agree they can be tough.

Games are as easy or hard as you want them to be in most cases. I do not see what everyone is talking about. Mother and I have played both easy, relaxing games and harder games.

First time I beat it with out lion heart second time I had it that's what made it easy
