I mean. He just said: There is no alliance and subdue to Konoha. And don't tell this shinobi's name in front of me again (Hashirama)

Like, nothing personal.

Why did he make such a fuss about it? So much to make his life convictions shattered because of this? Get lost because a diplomatic issue got wrong?

Is Madara that important to him?

Maybe the Stone Village was in need of a alliance that time
Yes, he was all preoccupied and nervous the agreement was being broken.

But I wonder why he took so personally, because like...He was past 50's and talked about finding himself because a treaty - when he was a teenager - was a lie?

(And it's quite possible Madara just lied because he was angry about Konoha and all...)

Ohnoki took too personally something about a treaty that went wrong. (And it's possible Madara lied because he felt betrayed by the villagers and his clan etc).

Like...You're 50 years old and still talks about something that happened in your work as a teenager - and it shattered your convictions?

Oh okay, I knew they had history but I forgot what it was. So Madara refused a treaty and that made Ohnoki give up on peace and cooperating with other villages?
