Why Obito isn't #1.

Yes as a matter of fact most of us did refer to Gaara as Shukaku once he lost control and Shukaku came out. It's the same as if Naruto lost control over the Kyuubi and it got loose, the resulting damage would be a consequence of the Kyuubi not Naruto. The same way if the Juubi kills anyone right now Obito isn't killing them(though he'd probably want to) it's the Juubi making the decisions.

ALso If obito is not in there, then the juubi would escape and kill obito which did not happen.

Prove that Jubi is in charge.. And I would argue, before Jubi became a Jinchuriki and when Obito had Gedo Mazo as well as the Edo Jinchuriki, you could debate over who is stronger: Obito, Hashirama or Madara.

This applies to when Gaara let Shukaku take over, or when ever Kurama had to save Naruto by taking control of his body.

Gaara was the Jin of Shukaku and it still got loose and rampaged against his will because he, like Naruto at that point, had not "connected" with his Bijuu. Same applies for Obito, he has not yet "connected" with the Juubi the way Naruto has now with Kurama. The Juubi is rampaging while it's Jin(Obito) is inside fighting for control.

But here's a little hint for you: Shukaku came out...Kyuubi came out (partially)...Juubi didn't come out. So, Obito has some sort of control.

He is obviously still a bit struggling and confused, but he just went through the transformation.

I have seen people having Trouble speaking their name after a few beer, so if Obito is like that after just sealing the most powerful being in existence into his body, I would guess that's pretty forgivable...
