If he had full info, which is why obito was smart enough to never reveal such information. If he did then itachi's failed trap could've possibly ended obito, but as I said obito isn't that careless.

Also that's not at all what he said. People love to twist words to fit their own reality.

He said if Itachi knew his secrets, he might have been dead from the trap.

This means that Itachi would have just made a better trap.

Does that mean Itachi was stronger?

No, because if it did, then why didn't Itachi face and kill Obito himself instead making a trap hoping to kill him while off-guard?

Explain to me why the 5, 6, and 7 tails (5 and 7 in the anime), were captured before Gaara?


Simply explanation: Obito gave a bs answer so Itachi would be dead by the time they went after Naruto.

They anime isn't canon, though. Just because we haven't seen the Akatsuki capture those Bijuu, it doesn't necessarily mean that they were captured before Gaara. Kishi could have easily off-panel it.
