Why obito didnt use pain's powers

Many eye sets in the narutoverse have had different uses for different eyes. Practiacly the only ones with the same use for both eyes are the Byakugan, and Shisui's Mangekyo. Even ordinary sharingan is supposed to have two parts to it, according to Zabuza, their is the Piercing eye and the hypnotic eye.

Sasuke and itachi both used amaterasu with one eye, and Genjutsu in the other. Obito's mangekyo uses personal kamui in his right eye, and long ranged in his left.

Given this, it isnt to far fetched top say the the powers pain used (-human path) Originate from the right rinnegan, which Madara is now using, and the Linked vision and human path powers come from the left eye, which obito stole.

this is actually a pretty good theory. doesnt seem to far fetched considering the rinnegan is an evolution of the EMS

But Madara used susanoo without eyes, so it isn't far fetched to say he can use all techs with one eye...

Would be a good theory but Obito was able to use them. Gai was wondering why wasn't he using Pain's techs and Kakashi said cause he know they have counters and Obito reply saying good eye Kakashi. However that's Bull cause when Naruto and Sasuke started using senjutsu to counter Obito's Ninjutsu canceler he should've used deva path or preta path to push/absorb it.

simple answer to why Obito didn't use Pain's techs..... Plot not in the sense plot made it so he couldn't(that was Kamui) but in a sense Kishi knew he was OP and simply didn't want him absorbing it cause they needed to beat him.

Your theory is logical and realistic and how it should've been but you know Kishi, logic went out the window along time ago.

Obito has been able to show the use of the human and the outer path and linked vision abilities with the left rinnegan. I don't believe we have seen him use any other rinnegan abilities. Having some abilities in one eye and some abilities in the other makes sense, and wouldn't be surprised if it were true. But even though Obito hasn't shown the ability to use these abillties that doesn't mean he doesn't have them. Perhaps something was limiting him from using those abilities, kind of like how he couldn't use kamui while he was the juubi host. Also he hasn't had the rinnegan for very long, it may be best to just stick with what he knows. Anyways, nice idea it's entirely possible.

If he used preta path to absorb naruto's senjutsu chakra he has a chance at turning into a stone frog, and juugos senjutsu chakra may not be compatible and kill Obito.
