Why Obito can't become Juubi's Jinchuriki (Host)

I think Obito knew that he can't become the host/jinchuriki of the Juubi because half of his body is artificial and you need a whole and healthy body to become a Bijuu's host (most esp. the Juubi's) if he didn't have the intention to revive Madara, he could have intended to use Sasuke as the host of Juubi

He said something about linking Sasuke to the Gedo Mazo.

Maybe his plan failed because Madara unexpectedly entered the stage because of Kabuto's doing. And now he's forced to either play along with Madara and backstab him when he has the chance. Thoughts?

It's just doesn't add up why Obito says that Madara was under his mercy to revive him to become the Juubi's host if he could just say, "I don't need you, I can become its' host myself" that seems to imply that he knew he can't be the Juubi's host coz of his artificial body.

thanks, I think rollin pointed out before that by synching what Tobi meant was using Sasuke to extract the Bijuu, but I think that point is moot because Tobi Kisame and Zetsu were able to extract Killer B (Hachibi's Tentacle) without Sasuke, and why is there a mention of him becoming more powerful than Nagato if Tobi just wanted Sasuke as an extractor of the remaining Bijuus?

It's kinda impossible to become juubis host imo because u can't use sharingan if its in you and he will probably take over the control sage of six paths probably though no one can control it so he divided the juubi to 9 diffrent creatures

Actually he divided it because S06P was nearing the end of his life, and if he dies while the Juubi is inside him it will break free.

I completely agree, that's why he's bitching at Madara while attacking the alliance. I think he knows Madara is just using him but he's trying to turn the tables, but Madara seems to find his insolence amusing which means he saw this coming.

One thing is for sure, they don't have much time left, Juubi is reaching its' final transformation stage, either they make someone the Juubi's Jinchuriki or it will break free and destroy them all.
