Well even if they did make a crater, he can fly out of it. Also all that stuff about fire and water wouldn't work, only taijutsu and senjutsu works on him

Urm i don't mean to be rude but do you seriously think that would stop jubidara? not only that but have you forgotton that madara stole kakashi's(originally obito's) sharingan and can use kamui meaning that he would be able to either warp out of the ground and back onto the battlefield or phase through it.
