Why not rinnegan techs?

Why aren't Madara and tobi abusing rinnegan techniques? is it cause there not able to use it like nagato or there just fooling around? Been wondering about stuff like that. Like why didn't tobi absorb narutos attack with petra and why isn't he using Shinra tensei and asura? Not trying to flame btw

im not sure about itachi but bee didn't know about the techniques til naruto told him
kakashi and guy would know from intel from when pain attacked konoha
kakashi went up against a couple knowing guy he would have made counters

You can't counter Preta path you just use it. And tobi wouldn't have to worry about deva 5 second rule, and all the other paths don't really have counters in the sense of making them utterly useless. Like it really makes no sense that rasangan landed when could of absorbed it. You know?

i don't know what their counters would have been but it seems like most of those techniques can't be countered

Tobi and Madara can't use the Rinnegan like Nagato could because they haven't had it as long. We know Tobi can use Outer and Human path. Ignore the fanboys who say they can use them to the extent that Nagato could because they're wrong. Nagato had Rinnegan his whole life time. Tobi has had it for a couple of weeks and Madara unlocked it shortly before his death. Thus, this is their first time using Rinnegan in an actual fight. Oh yeah, I'm sure Tobi can use them now that I think about it. He's conserving chakra plus Naruto and co. have counters. Anyways, his whole fighting style revolves around not being hit. If he were to use Preta path, he'd become tangible and leave himself open to attack. You might not believe it, but his S/T tech is more valuable than any Rinnegan tech.

because they are a piece of shit. ell not madara, i just hate madara, but tobi yes, he is weak, madara cant manage the level of the rinnengan tech that nagato used, but he can handle pretty well.
