Seriously, this guy has obviously no tastes. One girl dies, life goes on, and he finds a new one that actually can battle.

This is a stupid thread, but at the point the story is at now, it's perfectly acceptable. Apparently this manga is about Obito destroying the world because girls friendzone him.

Rin was his childhood sweetheart, his symbol of his childhood. Much like Sasuke is Narutos symbol of his childhood so Rin will always mean more to Obito than anybody else ever could.

He isn't capturing any on his own now, so that reason is pointless. Also, before the war even started he had access to Kabuto. Could just get Kin&Gin Chakra and use the Hachibi Tentacle to revive the Jubi, without the war.

you realize that juubi is incomplete? he still need their full form to revive the juubi complete.
