Why not hanzo?

Good point....Hanzo was an absolute beast! He took on the Sannin as well as Nagato...from both battles he went unscathed!

Sadly people forget him (myself included) because of the years he spent loosing his finely honed skills.

Think of this...he spent YEARS hiding to stay alive and he was still a beast. So yes with his skills sharpened he is easily one of the strongest characters to have existed in the Narutoverse

Everyone seems to put either oro or jman in their top 10 but not hanzo. That's something I don't get considering he was stronger than all 3 sannin combined. They got famous cuz they survived so shouldn't he be considered top 10 material?

Because the sannins weren't in their prime when he fought them.

he bested three YOUNG sannins not the fully grown three legends of the leaf, he was a monster but him falling back was a part of his story
