Not exactly. Lee could only go up to the 4th gate at 12, 6th gate by wars end. Chapter 700 Lee no doubt can open all 8...but why would you. That's kind of a end to all things move. You saw how dire things had to be before Gai opened the 8th gate.

ah i see. it's probably extremely tough entering (and holding) gates 5-7. 8th is death, so it may not be that he couldn't just that the risk is too great.

lee could open only 5 gates in part 1 , in shippuden he went up to 6 and in the last lee perfected 6th gate to the point where can Handel a meteor on his own. It's painfully obvious that he masterd all of them in chp700

TBH i dont think so he barely survived 1 person going 8Gates , i think a second at Lee's lvl would be a win .

I'm not dumb guy, Madara was having fun with Guy which is why he maintained an amused disposition while geting manhandled.
