1. the moral battle. this whole fight had a moral battle going on that made you understand both naruto and pain PERFECTLY when naruto says "you think killing all these people is justice!?" and pain goes "but it was your same justice that destroyed my village." I was just like dayum... this is some good sht.. and when he "killed" hinata infront of naruto and compared it to his parents being killed infront of him I was stuck trying to figure out who to root for though ofcourse I wanted naruto to win.
2.the fight itself was epic the way they fought was cool and it wasn't just a epeen competition.
3.strategy was actually employed. most of the fights in the war arc don't have any real strategy sure they may find out a weakness or exploit but that about it.. naruto knew pains weakness but still actually had to FIND a way to exploit it and it was not easy. pain also had to find out how to beat naruto WITHOUT killing him and keep deva path from dying when it couldn't attack
4. emotions running high! konoha the setting of naruto.. the place we know and love and almost all its people... got BLASTED TO ATOMS my jaw dropped when I first saw this happen he just killed everyone! (even though rinne asspull comes out later *rolls eyes* it was still a edge of the seat moment.
5. naruto meeting minato (finally) was a touching moment and gave naruto a chance to prove himself once more.
6.narutos own efforts actually mattered in this fight wasn't any gimmies except minato saving him from kurama stealing his body.. but it felt nice to know that naruto could still fight due to hard work and not handouts makes you feel accomplished.
7. this is still the single most epic entrance in naruto
