Naruto and Sasuke are BFF's. Out of all his friends Naruto could relate the most with Sasuke not with Sakura because he doesn't speak the fodder language that she does.

One can argue that he finds Sasuke to be the most relatable, or that it's because of they time they spent together as members of Team 7.

But as far as I can tell, Shikamaru, Sakura and Sai were much better FRIENDS to him than Sasuke ever was.

I never really got it either, their bond was so forced. Shikamaru was a better friend to Naruto than Sasuke was. But it all ties back to the sons of Hago and how they both had no families and stuff.

Sasuke is the person who he can relate to the most, they both grew up similarly - alone, without a family for years, went to the Ninja academy,and was placed on the same team. They both experienced loneliness,and all the pain, and sadness that comes with it.

He would hang out with Shikamaru,Kiba,and Choji, but at the end of the day, they would go home with their parents, something he,and Sasuke were not able to do
