Why Naruto should and is going to end with Naruto's death.

believe me this show has WAY more childish moments than adult one's.... this show is still produced maybe not directly for children but definitely with the child audience in mind.... And also think about if Naruto dies than...

then minato and his mother would have died for nothing
Jiraiya would have died for nothing
And all of these people in this war (including tsunade) would have died for nothing
They all put their faith and dreams in Naruto

If he died the story would be pointless

Not at all, they died as most heroes do, in order to protect the fate of the world. Naruto's death and by extension, everyone who sacraficed themselves to keep him alive, would finally break the chain of hatred, something definitely worth dying for...

Even though you might be right, and I have felt the likeliness of this outcome myself, I am still not going to admit it. I just cannot accept his death.

Deffinatly has had several hints (especially with the whole we will die part).

There was also the scene during Naruto vs Itachi that goes against it.

During the war arc Naruto said leave the rest to me: it then shows him saying to Itachi he'll save Sasuke without killing him....I've posted the page below.

Thanks for the comment. But, I mean its not that I dont want him to live, personally I will read it till the end and be content with whatever is drawn. However, Naruto dying is still the most appropriate ending.

To your manga page. Naruto was still very young and naive at that time, he didnt realize what self-sacrifice was until he faught Pain. He came to the realization that he will die when he later faught with Sasuke after Danzo fight...

Haha I know its tough to accept. But it will be a heroic death. If written correctly (and I have no doubt Kishi has the capability) it will be give us all a completely new respect for Naruto, the story and the character.

Well Kishi could have the fight take place after a time skip and Naruto has been Hokage for several years and is now middle aged. Then Naruto and Sasuke could kill each other.

Assuming of course Kishi goes this way with the story.

No I think I understand what you were trying to say, but I think we differ on why their sacraficies are important. Through Naruto they are able to save break the chain. That is what Jiraiya entrusted Naruto to do, not save his own life, but save the fate of the world as the child of prophecy. Now his parents on the other hand, you can argue they want him to live a long, happy life, but even Minato said turning against your people is worth than death or a life of misery.

Naruto hasn't achieved aNy of his dreams.
Everyone entrusted their fate unto him,remember what neji said,that his life isn't his anymore.
His mom and dad died because of him
He had basically been shouting he's gonna become hokage from the begining of the manga.....
Kishi gets inspiration doesn't mean he wrote his story based on some myths,he might pick one or two things outa those myths doesn't mean he follows it all.
I guaranty you he won't die!

Right, and I thought about this as well. As you seem to know, Beowulf doesnt die until he gets into old age, which is a possibility of Naruto, but I think the only time he could die is against Sasuke, and that fight has to be sooner rather than later.

I think it can be argued that he has achieved all of his dreams. His real dream was to be acknowledged, becoming Hokage was just a symptom. And yes, everyone entrusted him and he is GOING TO SUCCEED. But it is his death that will help him do this, through his death the world will unite. All shinobi forever will remember the heroic Naruto and what he did for the Shinobi of every nation. And Tsunade's about to die, he may become Hokage anyway before he dies...

Yes! Exactly my point. I am not saying he just drew from Old English literature (obviously not), but his heroes journey is that of an Epic English Hero.

Other manga drawer's get their inspiration from one or two text,But they don't fully emphasise their manga on whrer the text ended.
And might I add that this is a manga,not an american comic,ichigo never died,luffy never died,goku died but came back.

Exactly, that statement becomes sort of strange if they fight and Naruto just wins out-right. It would be like, "Why did Kishi even add that part?"

Just a theory. I'm worried outside influences will affect what should be a great ending though
