Why naruto owns minato in speed in long run

Ok so minato has through the specail kunai for ftg to work. So in a long distance race I think naruto will win. Reason is he will run faster then minato can throw the kunai and throw on and on. The reason is unless minato has the kunai already there he will lose in long run. So in my conclusion their is a tie for fastest ninja. Am I correct?Please dont hate or troll.

Minato does not use speed he uses a space time bending justu it makes speed irrelevant.Nobody will ever arrive to a certain destination before minato if he so chooses.

Naruto does not run faster than minato launching a kunai. Minato shows how fast he can launch a kunai in his fight with obito. And to the person that said his base speed is as normal as any ninja your an idiot.

Minato's base speed is still fast as hell. In every situation that someone gets the drop on him, he is able to shift tactics and/or teleport away before the attack can land. Consider when he was about to stab A in their encounter, Bee attacked him and Minato adjusted and near severed a tentacle no teleoportation necessary. Also when Tobi threw baby Naruto in the air and was about to impale him, Minato grabbed Naruto and was on the wall in nothing flat. So it's not just his FTG, it's the fact that folks can have the drop on him and he is still able to execute the move. That is the most alarming thing about Minato's speed.

you keep saying he has to throw kunai to teleport,he can teleport by touching somebody anywhere on his body.once that happen its game over.you say he would probably teleport behind him,thats dumb to say.if they are racing,then hes going to teleport in front to win.when he threw the kunai through obito head he teleported over top of him.when he teleported to the rock ninja the tag waz on his foot but he teleported behind him.he can choose where he appears as long as the seal is in the area.minato is my favorite character but i will not go on and say minato would win every fight or is better than everybody but i do state the facts.minato would win this.he has shown his base speed three times in the anime.one was when he saved baby naruto and appeared on the ceiling.two was when he was taking the bombs off naruto before he ftg out the house.three was when he ftg to kid kakashi to save him from the rock ninja because he was about to counter kakashi chidori,when he got their he marked the rock ninja on his foot,dodged the sword that was about to stap kakashi,then body flickered away back to where rin and obito were.so minato is still fast without ftg.he created that jutsu just because he wanted to save kushina and of course naruto and anybody else who waz important to him faster if they was really far away.he would know if something is wrong because the seals would sense it and minato would go.
