why naruto may not become hokage(yet)

im sure some of you are thinking
"tsunade is about to croak and get out of the way for naruto to be hokage"

But that would not be logical for some reason's

1. naruto is too young, He is not even 20 okay i get it he is not too young

2. He hasn't really shown much besides the fact he is strong to the villagers
(about this, he could show leadership in helping the town get repaired or something but we will have wait for that)

3. maybe he will not accept the offer because (naruto doesn't strike me as a paper filling kinda person)

And the most far out

4. maybe konoha will get totally destroyed ,and not be there to rule, by nagato himself
(its already severly damaged

Didn't Sandaime become a hokage at a young age also? I remember the flashback during his battle against Oro.

no no, I like point #2 Naruto's not going to become Hokage until the very end of the manga! That leaves him plenty of time to develop on his leadership skills.

i remember him saying dat "how can i become hokage if i cant even save one person (sasuke)"

as for naruto becoming hokage:
i'd have to agree with redkakazu that he's still to young, not only becuz of his age but becuz of his state of mind.
He might have matured a great deal, but i just dont see him sitting behind a desk(yet) ...it's just not him.
also if he becomes hokage he wouldnt be able to leave the village to after sasuke, which is one thing that is bound to happen sooner or later.

who says you cant train genein as a hokage?
the first and second hokages trained sandaime when they were hokages and handed it over to him while they were still liveing

and i looked it up and you guys are right...he was like 12 or even younger when they made him hokage..

Listen, Naruto's character has always been based on growth and maturing. Since he was a young ass little punk in the beggining of the manga he has said he will become Hokage someday and that he never goes back on his word. He has already went back on his word by not bringing Sasuke back to Kanoha when he said he would to Sakura and I really think that showed him that sometimes there are forces in which he can not beat even with his nindo, his ninja way. So what I'm saying is in time I think he will grow up mentally and mature, and when the time comes that he is asked to be Hokage, he will humble himself and not take the chair and give the position to someone who would make a better fit. I just think Naruto's temperment doesn't fit the role of hokage, and someday he will see that he needs to take a much different role.
