Hi base. . I have come up with my theory to convey why naruto is the reincarnation of SO6P

Ok lets start
It is said that rikudo appeared during the era of war

Lets relate it with naruto's era

Obito planned to bring chaos to the world by reviving juubi during the time when naruto was born. .and ofcourse it was all madara's plan. . but it's undeniable that obito already had a good idea about Juubi and the sage. .after being fed by madara he started to carry out his plan

This being said, obito came to konoha to obtain kyuubi as a first step towards his plan. .but it failed due to 4th hokage. .
At the same time naruto was born with the burden of defeating Obito who later brought chaos to the world

Hence it proves that naruto also appeared during the time which was leading towards a war. .i.e.4th shinobi war . .

Let's go back to rikudou's era once again . .
He was strong and pure minded like naruto . .
His intention was to bring peace to the world which shakened by the chaos of Juubi. .
He finally defeated juubi and sealed it inside him. .
But he feared after his death it would revive again . .so for that he divided it into 9 tailed beasts and died. .

Here comes the interesting part. .
sage died w/o fullfilling his destiny completely. .he only did half of his job. .
Dividing juubi only gave him temporary solution and he knew that once juubi revives it will be the end of the world. .
Somehow he knew that juubi would eventually revive because afterall he's the sage of six paths =D
For that reason he created Tailed beasts and gave them consciousness though TB's progenitor juubi itself lacks the consciousness​

Since he gave them consciousness it became easy for him to enlighten the bijuu's

Here he says there will come a time when you all will come to know the true meaning of power and you will return to be one will for which kurama sheds tears

Ans: The will of naruto. .that is becoming friends with Bijuu's and saving their existence

And for that very reason all the bijuu's gave him their chakra

To add one more proof for it. . juubi sensed the presence of all the bijuu's chakra and rikudou himself inside naruto

Madara was only able to sense the chakra of bijuu's inside naruto but he didn't recognise the six paths

Juubi was able to sense it because it is familiar with six paths chakra but madara has never seen six path and also naruto's chakra reflected the sage's chakra. .

Some may ask naruto still lacks shukaku's chakra . .but my friends if naruto is the reincarnation of sage himself then why do he need shukaku's chakra again when he already has it the same scan shows that naruto has shukaku's chakra. .


PS:
All the Tailed beasts are currently in friendly terms with naruto but not with anyone else. .
they have entrusted their will to naruto and completely believes in him like they believed in sage once. .
So the sage is reborn to fulfill what he started once . .but this time his opponent is not just wild Juubi but it's jinchuriki who is equally powerful as himself and also the madara who possesses godly powers. .this time it won't be easy for him to defeat them because obito is wielding juubi's power and knows how to use that godly power efficiently. .
For that sage will use the Bijuu's that he created to counter the juubi jinchuriki obito because THORN CAN BE REMOVED ONLY WITH THORN =D

Very good theory I believe this as well.people can say all they want in the end naruto will be comfirmed as the rencanation of the sage cause we have been given like about 1000 hints about this.the latest is juubi mistaking naruto to be the sage of six parts.

Naruto will be someone greater than the SAGE. I don't think he's the REINCARNATION of the SAGE cause if it had been so, then there is not someone called Naruto with a distinct personality he 's just the SAGE reborn :| and I don't think so
