Why Naruto Is Obesessed With Sasuke

To all you people saying, "Sasuke is a terrible friend, he's a lost cause, Naruto should move on!", you obviously don't understand Naruto at all.

Naruto CAN'T give up bringing Sasuke back, not because they are super great buddies, but because Naruto couldn't live with himself otherwise.

Naruto has said it on different occaisons, "How can I become Hokage, if I can't even save a friend?" That's not verbatum, but it has the same meaning.

Naruto CAN'T give up because that would be saying Sasuke is a lost cause, when Naruto doesn't believe anybody is truly a lost cause.

I could list more, and perhaps I will later. But the reason Naruto wants to bring Sasuke back so bad isn't because they're super great best pals forever, even though Naruto does think of him as a friend.

i was coming in here for some naruto bashing but it was opposite.

Sasuke is like a brotherly friend to naruto. pretty much like family and without him it's pretty much losing everything all over again apparently.

I agree naruto feels that way about sasuke. The problem is that sasuke doesn't actually feel like that back. The only person he really cared about is itachi, and it's the reason that he's doing all of this. Sasuke grew up idolizing itachi and loved him. That was his role model, and go back to part 1 and see the sasuke flashbacks with itachi. He was do happy around him before the massacre. In the end, I do think naruto will be forced to move on but it's important to note that it is a ONE-way street.

Naruto & Sasuke were both alone as kid, so they both knew what the pain that Solitude brings. When they formed team 7 they became friends each risking there lives to save one another. To Naruto, Sasuke was one of the first bonds he's ever had with anyone, and he looks at him like a brother who he doesn't want to lose.
