Why Naruto cant cast a gengutsu,and why sasukecant learn sage mode.

Being good at genjutsu requires intelligence. Naruto's fightning style and persona is like his mom's. I doubt he could be good at genjutsu with or without Kurama.

but story wise they are rivals so why can't we guess at who is stronger its not like they're never gonna fight again... i mean they're both opposite side of the same coin body/eyes... love/hate... skill/raw power... its like saying that one side of a penny can't be compared to the other side of the same penny

I never said you can't compare which is stronger, I said you can't compare which is a better character. Everyone has different preferences.

but t being an effective one would require a bit more intellect

i know but that's what imo those opposite characters are there for to compare their traits of characters
kinda like putting black ink on white paper... its just so you can see and compare the differences or better-ness of each character. We wouldn't be able to see who was better if they were exactly the same would we?

I mean that Naruto is a nice, Hardworking character and Sasuke is a dark conflicted character. Almost no one would like both of those types of characters. For one individual to like these traits equally is very rare. So in most cases a person will like one and not the other and therefore say which character he thinks is better only by which character traits he prefers.

Exactly... kishi wanted people to pick side's or fav's thats why everyone isn't the same... the trick to comparing them isn't wether they can be compared or not its who your comparing with that makes the difference.. with an objective person they can be dissucssed who is the better... just not a butt hurt fanboy

Naruto doesn't use genjutsu because he doesn't NEED to use suck a ***** technique. Sasuke cannot do shit without it. Sasuke cannot learn Sage mode because he never did the training.
