Why Naruro's Defeat Means Less Than Sasuke's Defeat

Naruto was defeated, but unlike Sasuke it wasn't because of a lapse in skill or judgement. Madara used a cheap ass Rinnegan tech to rip a Tailed Beast out of him. You can't even call that a fight.

Sasuke barreled in full force without any assistance and got a heartful of sword.

That's the difference.

That would have been the case, if Sasuke hadn't went in unprepared. As Madara said "I gave you ample time to do something." Sasuke could have gathered Kakashi or Minato, had Hiruzen help.
