Why Moana is better than...

Moana actually lead her people to a new era. Kaguya ran away from her clan, was BEAT by Naruto , Sasuke and Sakura (scattered chakras- she said it by herself)
Maui respected Moana so much, he got a new tattoo based on her win on Te Ka.
Everybody respected Moana in the end, by her power and inner courage, even the gods and the ocean itself. Can't say the same for Kaguya, sorry not sorry.

Meh Moana butchered my culture, which is pretty common for Disney to do lol. It's just funny because she'd get married and then pretty much lose most of her power over the tribe. She'd be relegated to different jobs and wouldn't be able to go on the sea like she did ever again. Also they made Maui more hawaiian/samoan, except he's really supposed to be skinner, he's a trickster demi-god not a knuckle-dragger.

Kaguya really adds up to the story with her powers and lineage. But Te Ka / Te Fiti somewhat emanates more power.

Well yes Kaguya is not good in those terms of characteristics but to be honest it is kishi's fault he just wanted to finish the manga so fast. However, we are talking about the powers here....

And by the way Te Fiti as I said earlier created life itself and the earth. She could easily destroy Moana, but she couldn't, as she was more intteligent and had a stronger will. I would say that in this battle, Moana would act like Itachi does: tactics and intelligence. She outsmarted Tamatoa and kakamora (Maui the demi god was being soloed btw)

And more: Motu Nui was being destroyed by Te ka. The power is equivalent to those that destroy dimensions. Maui was scared to face the goddess.Moana did so and won.Alone.

You didn't get it
Moana can not survive an attack that can destroy the universe and then create a new dimension. She didn't show any such feat that could protect her against that + Kaguya can just genjutsu her or even use any paralyzing jutsu and since Moana doesn't have chakra or even can't sense Kaguya then it is the end for her just like Madara here:

based on those 6 things listed id have to disagree. Naruto just had weak female characters outside of Tsunade, Mei, maybe Konan. but anime and manga as a whole has some op females

It's Disney we are talking about guy, let's calm down...But there are tribes that are matrilineal in Polynesia yes. It would not be that unrealistic to think that she would be just as powerful throughout her life as she was in the end of the movie.

Kaguya isn't that smart. She got hit by Sakura even with Byakugou activated. Madara was betrayed, he wasn't expecting that. Moana and her team would.

Moana couldn't fly, or be stronger than Tamatoa or Te Ka in the physical sense. But still she beated them down. If it was like that Naruto and Sauke would be dead by now. Here it was stated that her chakra was bigger than the Juubi. Sasuke and Naruto's didn't even come close to it.

Matriarchal is the word and yes, but only in certain facets of society. Women are revered and respected but only for the things they are good at (i.e Child rearing, cooking, farming, etc). When it came to war and decisions on the tribe as a whole, it came down to Chief's which were predominately male. Obviously she would have to take a husband to keep her line going which means her husband would rule.

Still being smart is not enough because Moana doesn't have any attacks that can kill Kaguya. It was stated by hagoromo himself that the only way to stop Kaguya is to seal her...Moana doesn't have any seals like the ones Naruto and sasuke have....so no she can't beat Kaguya.....End of discussion ( I am tired now lol)
