it makes pretty much no sense
its completely useless to him
unless he's not able to keep up with the other hokages

but the thing minato has never done was use shikisekiyoujin

now minato has to get in kcm mode for this massive jutsu but the other hokages dont need anything like that

doesnt that suggest that minato clearly isnt on the same level as the other hokages unless he is in kcm

clearly the jutsu is complicated if only kage can do it
maybe its even more of a challenge for minato
thats why he needed kcm
perhaps minato is being overrated because hes the only hokage that needed a cloak
he doesnt need the cloak for anything else

he should have got a crimson cloak like kin and gin

It is to show that Minato has Kurama's chakra sealed inside of him, if anyone can perform sealing techniques i think it would be him! so no, he doesnt need the cloak. Besides i think FTG the juubi's TBB takes alot of chakra, and he did that in his normal state. We have to wait and see what other sealing techs he can perform, but till now he doesnt really need the cloak in my opinion

Technically, Minato doesn't need a power boost. He is an Edo, so his chakra is unlimited.

The reason he used it is because Kishimoto just wanted to show that Minato still has Kurama's chakra, and also to add more hype to Minato. Afterall, no other host of the kyuubi has been able to mold its chakra into KCM besides Naruto. All that does is show us Minato is an even bigger badass than we thought.

completely disagree. The simple fact is: using the kyuubi's chakra will give minato's techniques a substantial boost in power. Frankly, in their current situation they need as much power as they can get. The chakra is available to him, and if he didn't use it it would be a disservice to the alliance.
