Same applies to Minato. Dude enters the field and gets rid of Juubi level bijudaama that was wrecking entire cities with a flick of a kunai and matching pace with an 8th gate Gai. But riiiiight Itachi is the only capable of beating stronger and faster opponents

I just listed a bunch of characters I said would beat Itachi, including Minato. When I said Minato would lose, I was referring to Edo Itachi (though, granted, it's my fault for not mentioning it in my post).

True enough. I'll give you credit where credit is due. You did and I read those. Even though I responded to your post I was actually referring to Itachi fans as a whole. Don't get me wrong the guy is/was boss no doubt. But so is/was Minato. It would actually be an extremely entertaining matchup.

You can't beat a character that has no flaws. I accepted that fact yesterday. With how nonsensical the dude's abilities are, he will literally ALWAYS remain #1 (excluding Kaguya and Juubi Madara since they can one-shot him with IT) until Yata Mirror is nerfed, but since it will probably never be brought up, that will never happen.

itachi with ems would be almost unstoppable, you would just have to repetitively attack until all his chakra is drained and he cant use yata, as seen with madara and hashiramas fight. Or you would have to surround him with attacks coming from every direction where he cant defend, however he would probably deactivate his susanoo and dodge in base

1. Itachi has poor stamina & is slow. None of his attacks are fast enough to hit top tiers & some lower tiers and susanoo is very stamina taxing. People can literally wait for susanoo to ware off.

2. YM doesn't have 360 degrees of protection & depends on Itachi's reflexes. When it blocked Orochimaru, why did susanoo raise the shield the up to block the snakes coming from above? Cause there there is no 360 degrees of protection. Itachi has to move the arm of susanoo to move the shield on place to block an attack. If he can't see it, Itachi is done for when it comes to Onooki's or Muu's dust release(it even destroyed Madara's susanoo).

A team of Ay & Onooki can beat Itachi.

Considering the Minato who fought 13yr 16/17yr old Obito... He still has a good chance but that's a tough battle and could go either way with a slight mistake from either one.

But with later introduced abilities of Minato like Instant swapping/Kage bunshin, that's changes the equation very much in Minato's favor.

P.S.

Susanoo doesn't have a defense against S/T jutsu esp. those which are not directly an attack... Minato can simply jump to the other side of the kunai and land in the susanoo.

Itachi doesn't have counter to sound based genjutsu, as he needed Sasuke to undo the genjutsu from Kabuto.

Itachi is stronger, smater, quicker in reflexes and has a huge arsenal.

The only Blitz comparison we have are Minato and Bee vs Itachi and bee in shunshin and Itachi was the clear winner as bee didn't even notice him (had to be told).

His stamina, which has the same score as Sakura's in the 3rd Databook, would still be an issue when it comes to using EMS, even without the MS drawbacks. He's easily defeatable by anyone who can spam 360 degree attacks around his Susano'O.
