Where are you getting these restrictions on Hiraishin from? Canonically, Minato can teleport anywhere within a 1 - 2 meter radius of his seal. Getting inside Susanoo would be child's play for Minato, considering it doesn't even have a solid underneath either.

Going by canon based feats, he's more the capable with a simple V2 Hiraishin.

Itachi, canonically, has never revealed Susanoo the moment the fight begins, and with Minato's shunshin feats, tagging him in a brief taijutsu duel will be embarrassingly easy. Minato can shove a Rasengan up Itachi's ass at any moment, and to prevent this, Itachi is going to need to sustain a body armour Susanoo at all times, which, with his health issues, will not be long at all. People do not seem to realize that moving faster than the speed of thought simply does not give your opponent time to initiate plans and/or plays which may help them in surviving an unholy bamflash. Minato stomps Itachi interms of stamina, considering using even 2 or 3 Mangekyou Sharingan based jutsus leaves Itachi in a great deal of discomfort. I also have to question whether or not simple genjustu techniques will be effective against Minato, considering Tobi clearly thought it wasn't viable against him.
The sharingan grants prediction like powers, but Minato is moving at near infinite speeds, beyond humans' thinking capabilities. He's already stomped one sharingan user who presented a more dangerous set of skills. You also fail to acknowledge that most genjutsu techniques have a limit on how effective they are when the opponent is a certain distance away, something which can be easily overcome with Hiraishin. You seriously overestimating Itachi's capacity if you believe Susanoo is going to be up for more than 2 minutes. Minato would win this, albeit with high difficulty.
