By what we know now about hashirama, I would place Minato on rank two....

Reason: The second hasnt shown any "exciting power". Since everybody says, Minato has just, what he showed, 2nd has also just his shown skills.

3.? He was close to crying when he saw minatos coffin rising. I know he was old, but I dont guess, that ordinary Nin-Jutsus are able to handle FTG. Without any secret Tchnique, any KG we dont know Ninjutsus that are even close to FTG.

Knowing yes... Kakashi is said to know more than a thousand Ninjutsus. How many did he show us in a couple of fights? Twenty?
Knowing is not= trained in using it during a battle

For Kakashi, not Know, Copied. And it is my answer to 6pathofpain's post. And We don't saw anything about Hiruzen when he's prime like 1st hokage. We are demanding on what manga says right? Manga says Hashirama defeated Madara and strongest shinobi? We don't see any fight or anything? It's same manga which is saying Hashi is best, and also when is hiruzen in prime called God of Shinobi. he is stronger than all of 5 kages in his time. But there is nothing like that minato. I am not underrating Minato but according to Manga, Minato is too young for them. Maybe He was capable to surpass Hiruzen or Tobirama but he couldn't survive and we never know that. If there would be battle between Hiruzen in prime and Minato. Hiruzen would beat him. It is the fact.

u forget how smart Minato is... its not just the jutsu that makes you strong.. the truly power is how u use that jutsu ....he is smarter then Shikamaro who dont have so powerfull jutsu but defeated many strong shinobis just with the right strategies. Its mainly (and this is the reality) that minato didnt master any nature manipulations. literaelly. People hate him because he only had a couple moves and they were the same ones. Rasengan FTG and time space seal.

IMO he is pretty good but you cant rate some naruto characters, well most of them to be honest, because they fall so closely to each other it could go either way.
