Why Minato didn't use the imperfect Sage mode ?

Minato can use the perfect Sage Mode only during 1~2 minute , it's very short.

He should use the imperfect sage mode , with this transformation even if he become ugly he could use the sage mode effectively. He could be stronger than Base Hashirama.

Cuz he's not an imperfect sage. Minato's time limit is most likely the same As SM naruto's when he first got it. The only problem is as seen by Jman and That very same naruto standing still to go into it makes its use mid battle worthless. Look what Jman had to go through. Look at the work around naruto had to use. Look at what kabuto had to do to get around it.

All in all for the fastest shinobi ever sitting still mid fight is a waste of time.

Minato can use Sage mode for at least 5 minutes like Naruto vs Pain and this only if he sits down and gathers natural energy.

And why use imperfect sage mode when he has the perfect balance mode?

2. His use of SM is overrated, he admitted himself he doesn't have the skill to use it in battle

No plot holes. It was hinted at.

When SM Naruto appeared before Pain, the frogs said that Naruto reminded them of his predecessors and it showed mental images of Jiraiya and Minato behind Naruto.

Also, just because something isn't hinted at doesn't make it a plot hole.

That is one of the problems with fandoms like this.

If something happens that they didn't predict or see coming, then it's a plot hole or asspull.
Hypocritically of course, if it is something they did see coming, then it was too predictable or unoriginal.
