He isn't an imperfect sage, it's just not his style of fighting.
Minato relies on speed, Sage Mode means staying still.
Well you can't gather Natural Energy while moving and Minato was moving all the time U_U He was idle when Madara gave that little lecture and as seen Minato was a "Perfect" sage so he's better than Jiraya for a fact U_U
So as said it changes nothing U_U

Jiraiya was the only known senjutsu user during minato's lifetime so if he is comparing his sage mode time limit to jiraiya's then there is obviously a large gap as jiraiya has fukasaku and shima to extend his sage mode limit indefinitely

Considering that it's now clear that MinAto trained with fukasaku, I don't see why it's farfetched to think Minato has frog kata.

As for the topic, like i've said, what Minato said is nothing new. We already knew the weakness of Senjutsu
1- Time it takes to kneed the chakra
2- How long you maintain it without partners(5minutes)

minato use sagemode with 1 arm. minato is a blitzer he dont need it. he just used because it was the one that would work on a jin. minato not using it was a + for him coz he become a hokage without the help of sage mode
Re-read carefully. He says he is not good at entering(takes long) and maintaining the mode for long period of times. There was no relationship with the number of techniques he can use inside the mode

Lol @ all these Minato fans. Minato sucks at sage mode. Yes I thought it was an asspull because I believed him to be as good as Naruto in it. You Minato wankers arent any better you were just as fixated on Minato being as good as a sage as Naruto.
Only because minato hasn't practised a lot with SM. If he actually practised with it and used í against opponents like naruto did. I'm sure minato would be good as or even better naruto...he never found an opponent strong enough for him to use it against I guess.

2- On the second part of the same sentence he now explains why
We already knew how and why it's hard to fight using senjutsu in battle

Then why he never used it in battle, just now against Madara when others tech doesnt work? Let me gues - cuz FTG GG and he doesnt need SM.......
