why Minato didnt tell about Madara when he was revived?

i mean, he says to the first hokage that he died fighting the kyuubi but never said that it was Madara who was indirectly responsible for his death. he didnt even say that Madara was there and was responsible for kyuubis attack in the village.

did he know that the masked man was not madara at that time?

Because he wasn't sure it was Madara then, he even went on to say that he thought Madara was long dead. He quickly dismissed it though since he realized that no matter who he was, the masked man had to be stopped.
