In the recent manga chapters, it tells the story of obito.. how he got his cool powers and hes ralation with madara and nagato and the zetsu.. but im more interested in why kakashi killed rin??

that is the whole reason why obito became the bad guy..
the whole reason why the akatsuki was founded..
the whole moon plan..

Obito's power are cool but

It wasn't the reason for the moon plan. Madara had that plan he was just getting old and needed someone to care the plan on. Then he found Obito who didn't want to help till Rin died

Yes, the Moon Plan was Madara's. Rin dying only solidified Obito's hate for this world. So, in a way, Rin dying is why he's doing it.
