[Theory] Why madara was beaten (If he indeed is)

Hi there. I was thinking about why madara ws one shot killed by zetsu even though he was his own will (If he indeed is killed). Maybe it is because of the fact that he was stabbed right at the place where he has that hashirama face like thing. That face gives him his regeneration ability. Once that is destroyed, he can't heal.
He was caught offguard by zetsu because he trusted him. So he got a clear shot to kill madara.

Mmm, he has the juubi so I'd say he could still heal but yes I belive he was drunk with victory, almost completely insane, didn't expect it from zetsu since he believed he was his will and that zetsu used Kamui to teleport to him instantly.

As Madara hosted Juubi, he no longer need the healing power of Hashirama's cell! Madara's Rinnegan can easily apply Banbotso Sozo upon any of his damaged limbs! Besides, Juubi's husk is also equivalent to Hashirama's cell! So, thinking that Madara won't be able to heal because of the destruction of Hashirama's face on the chest, is not logical or acceptable!!!

It could be, but I have to disagree. I think that the Mazou powers are enough for his regeneration abilities.
