Sup people? So, I recently watched an episode of the Indian epic, "Mahabharat", in which one of the good guys named Arjun hesitates killing the unjust and evil people just because they're his own cousins..however, "Lord Krishna" tells him that killing them is necessary, to defeat evil and bring back justice to the world. When I watched this, I compared it to the war arc and thought of something. If Madara is alive, then it would be pretty obvious that Naruto would spare him and forgive him for his crimes. But that's not how it happens. It's way too idealistic and unreal.
Madara walks the path of injustice, in the name of justice. He's so trapped in his dream world, that he wants to take the easy way, the Infinite Tsukuyomi, to end all wars and what not. And, Naruto's destined to stop the cycle of hatred, and I don't see how he would do that if he spared Madara.
Naruto walks the path of justice, however, he's too idealistic and compassionate, unlike Kakashi who would even kill his best friend to protect the world. That's how a true shinobi should be. Madara has killed millions of fodders, killed Obito(assuming he's dead), manipulated a 13 year old to join his side, by controlling the Mist and what not, just to further his cause. He's committed so many massive sins, that it's past the time of forgiveness. He should have realized that killing people would only come to him as payback(BZ stabbing Madara), and a life of re-birth, again and again. I might be considering this from a spiritual point of view, but the aim of human life is to free oneself from the shackles of re-birth, and get liberated, as human life has only sufferings.
Coming to the point, Naruto killing Madara wouldn't be a sin, infact it would be the right thing to do. It would be justice, because that would pave the way for future generations. I believe sinners are dying in this war, paying back for the sins from their past lives, i.e. if a shinobi was a sinner in his previous life, and in his current life, he walked the path of justice, then he would finally be freed from being reborn again. And how did he pay for his sins? By dying in a tragic way/suffering throughout his whole life(Naruto's example).
As they say, when the balance of the nature is disturbed(Kaguya stealing the fruit), complete destruction would take place, and the survivors would pick themselves up again and slowly start a new life through hard work. In the real world, this cycle would keep on continuing until humans stop disturbing the nature's balance, and in a manga like Naruto, I believe this war would be the last that they fight. Obviously enough, they'll weaken Madara and seal him, before which he would use Rinne Tensei or some shit.
However, I would like if Kishi would show Naruto and Sasuke killing Madara/sealing him, and as he dies, he would realize he was wrong, and then would die/be sealed. No Rinne Tensei.
So showing Naruto as a pure human is fine, but he needs to kill Madara/seal him in order to stop the countless wars.
However, Sasuke is an extremist. He wants to save the world, which is great, but for that, not caring about one's comrades is wrong. Even in a war, one does care about his own comrades. An ideal ninja is such that he cares for his own comrades, as well as acts mature. Sasuke is mature, however, he wants to do everything alone(except the sealing part, since he needs Naruto for the Yang chakra), which will eventually lead to his downfall, as Kishi stressed that teamwork is important.
