Problem is the Death God is a Hannya Demoness, a woman, if Kishimoto reveals the Reaper as the Sage's brother then he will be contradicting pre-established Japanese cultural ethos, it's like portraying the Statue of Liberty as a man instead of a woman.

If you would've gotten a manga scan of the Reaper it would've been more similar I think but yes the reaper looks like Kaguya if she was completely stripped of all of her beauty

There is no evidence that Kishi applies that logic.

It has been shown that chakra can be separated into Yin and Yang, but not the soul.

Kishi only adapts mythology and his culture to use his own manga, he doesn't strictly obey their laws as you would say he does.

If he did, then all the women would be 10 paces behind the men.

Well we saw that Madara got the third eye by absorbing the tree and reflected the third eye on the moon. So I think Kaguya and Madara's third eyes are the very fruit of the tree. Therefore,he doesn't need to eat another fruit.

Well the way Madara explained his third eye would imply Hagoromo could obtain it too if he got close to the moon which leads me to believe the fruit grants much more than just that eye.

Especially since Hagoromo admitted inferiority to her despite having been a Juubi Jin in the past.
