Simple his all power up is all from the third son of Kaguya the Black Zetsu.

He hasnt have the best quality of Rinnegan like Sasuke or Rikudo Sage Mode as Naruto. Naruto (RSM) and Sasuke (6 Tomoe Rinnegan) can solos neg dif JJ Madara. Same in the case of Toneri which he not the best person for the power but try to acquire those power but failed defeated by Naruto with the help from Hinata. Madara and Toneri good example how failed Sages 6 path wannabe looks like.

Naruto and Sasuke get direct contact and power up from Hagoromo even Hashirama get to see it after his death but the young man outclass both old Hashimara and Madara. The same case with Byakugan Princess and Hamura direct contact and power up even different is the Byakugan Princess solos all Hamura power not to share but a little lend to Naruto.

Sasuke slash his body in two, Naruto slash his body with the Shiiju in two. They easily outclassed JJ Madara neg diff after Hagoromo power up.
