Why Madara didn't open his heart?

Why he never got to have his own side of the flashbacks? Is it the character's personality fault or Kishi's?

I am going for the first option so: firstly, Madara didn't have a person whom he could have sit and told all about Izuna and Hashirama. Or the person would use all of this against him - Sasuke and Obito - or they wouldn't care - Tobirama and Naruto.

The most strange thing is: if Sasuke teamed up with him, I guess we could have had some flashbacks about his personal life, and even his family. As Hashirama said he could have stopped him without fighting. But instead of that, he messed up this opportunity by trying to stab him - in the back - the place where it most hurt for him.


Actually, he tried to open up but this happened:

Everybody gotten some flashback. Even Freaking Kaguya did. But Madara? ha! lawd Madara Uchiha is the BOSS! If people was able to see Madara's flashback like they did with hashi, they will know that all the 5 nations are at fault for this war and that madara is just a victim in this plot-no-jutsu conflict

I think if they had shown his flashback like they did with obito and hashi during the fight, people would see that Madara was right seriously and the hidden leaf village would acknowledge how the 2nd hokage treated the uchiha clan. Hell...If Sasuke had gotten some flashbacks in there, shit would've hit the fan on many levels.

The way the manga went, I don't think Hashirama ever lost a single fight and even know what it is like to be powerless. Because of those two reasons, he could never understood what Madara was going through.

On top of all that, Madara told him in the end that Hashi got it backward, Friends and family comes first before the village. Not the other way around.

If you put your friends and family first before the village, the village will always be there.

I wouldn't open my heart either if I lost everything, my family turning their back on me to later be massacred (After not trusting me and paying heed to my warning, which came true), and was cheated in the end.

It was like Madara said to Obito:

"As long as the concept of winners exist, there will always be losers."

And that was followed by Obito, who said:

"A world of just winners and peace. How delusional!"

Sasuke was a dumb ass person at the time. He still can't look at the big picture properly. On top of that, I couldn't bring myself to kill any of the people from from own clan at that point. Dude went out of his way to hear the hokage's side of the story. But not Madara's?

Since he considered Madara as a friend close to a brother he should be there for him and make things work out fine... Tobirama was mastermind and did all that shi on purpose, since... he knew how Uchiha/Sharingan works with the love/hate thing - + He even knew Madara was listening while talking with Hashirama in the office and still playing dumb like he didnt noticed a shit... but its true Hashirama did put Village above anything else... even Tobirama

But I don't really think he regretted with all his being the Infinite Tsukuyomi, after all he said his dream was "dead" and Hashirama's lived on, what means he still had consideration for his last dream where he could have had all he ever wanted: peace and his brother back.

And one could argue that was the biggest mistake of his life: if he heard Madara's side he could have seen how things roll when Uchiha tries to be Hokage - they end up being manipulated. Yes, he is away from the village and from its influence. But Sarada will want to become Hokage..... That will not end well......
If Sasuke cared so much for his clan he would have heard his predecessor and where his ideas went wrong. Not just go hearing Tobirama's side of the story - and everything he said was: Uchiha are possessed by evil - making it seem that they have to deny themselves to be good to the village!..... I mean, c'mon!

i would like to add - Sasuke knows how does it feel to loser a brother, even Hashirama told him that Madara lost his brother... Sasuke could do smth about it...
