We saw the fight in between 5 kage & madara.When Mizukage used her kekkei genkai lava style madara can't absorb it & avoid it he described it 'so pitful jutsu' .and naruto gonna use it with rasen suriken & mix it with senju chakra which also effective against rikodu sennin like madara.thus this kekkei tota technique with senju chakra will be epic against madara...i think...but it also true madara didn't used his true power until now & i thik his power will be enormous when he will eat the fruit of senzu!

My take on this is that there is sometime different about jutsu that have a physical trait when absorbing it, back when Madara fought with gaara first and he absorb the chakra from the sand the sand was left behind. the most important evidence to surpport this is the fight with kisame and roshi, everybody knows kisame can absorb chakra though his sword and when he did this in the fight with roshi all that was left behind was heated rocks from his lava style jutsu.... so maybe if he absorb the chakra from the jutsu there is still the physical element from the jutsu to worry about that my take on it anyway......

I don't think he has Preta Path. He lacks the other Rinnegan eye and even though it's a senjutsu technique, it still doesn't pose a problem to chakra absorbing techniques. Absorbing raw natural energy is where the problem arises.
